Four years ago today



Happy Birthday August and Owen.
You have taught me more than I thought I would ever know.
You helped me see the moon and the stars again with fresh eyes and have made every day of the last four years a gift that I can't wait to open.
You were born loving each other and I was born to love you.

  9. Awwww, I so remember that special day and how happy I was to finally meet my beautiful niece and nephew! It's amazing how fast these 4 years have flown by and how much more enriched they have been with the kiddos in our lives!

  11. Thank you all for the birthday wishes. They had a great birthday and now we are getting ready for the party this weekend. Oh to be a kid again.......the days were so long when I was small, I grew and they got shorter.

  12. oh, so sweet! i have twins too. boys, they'll turn 4 in october. i always get emotional around my kids' birthdays. as if the post birth hormones start working all over again :)

    and yes, you're so right - the days do seem to get shorter as we get older :)
