I love the paper in a moleskine sketchbook. The smooth, slightly warm paper is my favorite thing to draw on. I wish I could find a large thicker paper that feels the same. I just ordered quite a few pieces of rives bfk and I don't like it anymore. It is too hairy. Any suggestions. What is your favorite paper? What do you love?
I love moleskin paper too but I prefer watercolour paper-not the really thick stuff but the medium weight kind-I like the slight texture of it. I really like drawing on a gessoed surface too with watercolour pencils. I like the roughness of it. I love your drawings. I visited Anairam and saw her painted block. Just beautiful!
