Today is one of those days with endless possibilities. I am excited about the structures that are coming in. I like the mess and the empty space. Its funny in one of my critiques a while ago a very smart woman said to me, "there are so many characters, I suspect that it comes down to a mere few", and I was thinking I suspect not. Lately it seems that it often comes down to these two. I'll have to change that.
I love the warmth of my sketchbook paper, this cold white paper is hard for me to deal with. These last two drawings are also very large, for me, 18 x 24.
I like this one. It is interesting to see how your work is evolving.
ReplyDeleteYeah, big. (Just for sumthin' different, anyway). Damn, I really like the structures in this drawing, too! There are some printmaking papers that come in nice warm tones: Arches Cover Cream comes to mind, tho' they have a softer surface than drawing papers. You probably know that. I'll shut up now...
