Sketchbook pages from the week.
I like the way photographs capture a moment and forever it is true, though often in photographs we are putting on, extra nice outfits and our biggest smiles. So really our history exists in a series of pretty falsehoods but in the end I guess its usually true that we are pretty happy overall, aren't we?
Wishing you all a happy weekend, for real.

  1. HA! I love 'oh no you didn't' the subtle expression in the way she is posed totally captures that... funny how it fits and doesn't at the same time... If that makes sense

  2. A series of pretty falsehoods... hm... possibly. But which is more true? You on a sunny day in your best dress or you on a grey morning with bad hair? Anyway, I wanted to say I love the 3-d effects in your last drawing! Apart from the pretty patterns.

  3. Good question Kitty. Right now, funny enough, it is a grey morning and I have bad hair. (: Maybe I should take a picture(:

  4. I love that you caught that Gina, she just looks sassy like her neck is moving back and forth and yes then it doesn't fit at all, she doesn't look hip enough to say such things(:
