I am home from my second residency. Filled with ideas, inspiration and a long list of things to do. The basic theme of this past residency was that my work is cohesive, interesting, developed and that now I should experiment freely. I am excited to begin, to shake things up, to increase the tension and expand my language. I feel more excited this time, less weighed down with questions of why and excited to answer questions of what if.
I think, as an artist, the very best question to ask is always "What if..."
