Look what came in the mail! A beautiful painting, homemade soaps, and great music arrived yesterday and brought cheer to a very grey day. Thank you Gina. Gina is one of those very special people that you are grateful to know and hooray she has just started a blog! I have found a very special place for this painting, it will always remind me of how blessed I am.

I am always wondering if I could stay home all of the time, if given the choice.

We spent the afternoon in Portsmouth.

I went for a walk on the beach this morning.

I've been listening to The Amateur Marriage by Anne Tyler. She is so perceptive, so thoughtful and so honest about relationships. She tells what is underneath the pretty or whats happening inside that house that you stare at thinking........their lives must be perfect. She reminds you that you never really know what someone is thinking even if you share your days and years with them. Which is good. How safe to know every last bit of someone, but how dreadfully boring. And how arrogant to have secret thoughts and think that the person lying beside you doesn't have some of their own.

where to now?

I am a bit beyond frustrated.

I cannot access etsy for some strange reason, and yes I realize it is just me.

So that my computer does not land on the front lawn I am making the wise choice to shop elsewhere for my shop. Any ideas?

Its funny since I was little, so forever really, things that are just supposed to be simple have been difficult for me. Some things that are supposed to be difficult have also been very easy so I am certainly not complaining.

I now have a printer.

I'm working on opening a shop.

I am excited and then

I get overwhelmed and then two sick kids call waking up from a nap and then I lose my train of thought.

I like the way photographs capture a moment and forever it is true, though often in photographs we are putting on, extra nice outfits and our biggest smiles. So really our history exists in a series of pretty falsehoods but in the end I guess its usually true that we are pretty happy overall, aren't we?
